I think you will not be disappointed when I tell you that 1900 copies were taken of your new Book at my sale on Friday also 340 of Origin of Species.2
Clowes will send you immediatel the fair sheets to within 2 of the end.3 It is prudent to keep back a few sheets in both volumes least any check occurring here—the foreigner shd supplant you at home or anticipate you.
Rotterdam attached to Kramers name will be sufficient address4
