To Philip Lutley Sclater 9 December [1867]1
Down. | Bromley. | Kent. S.E.
Decr. 9th
Dear Sclater
I have no index of Proc. Zoolog. Soc.—at least no separate one, for I have not looked through each volume,—so I shd. be very glad of both indices, & they can be sent by same address as the Journal &c.—2
My list of Fellows is dated 1858; can you send me a more recent one?3
Some one has sent me the Intellectual Observer for December but it does not contain any article by you; hence I suppose that on Barbets is in the November Nor.4 If I do not hear from you in the course of the next week, I will order the Novr. number.
A talk with you always does me good, & I enjoy it much.—5
Yours very sincerely | Ch. Darwin
