Jukes 1857. CD recorded reading this work in 1860 (Correspondence vol. 4, Appendix IV, 128: 26). His annotated copy is in the Darwin Library–CUL.
The December 1859 issue of Macmillan’s Magazine, pp. 142–8, contained Thomas Henry Huxley’s review ‘Time and life. Mr. Darwin’s “Origin of species’”. There is an annotated copy in the Darwin Pamphlet Collection–CUL.
