My dear Hooker
At p. xxxvi. amongst Nat. orders with upwards of ths of genera endemic you give “Cruciferæ” amidst strange associates.2 at p xxxvii amongst Nat. orders with between & not endemic you again give “Cruciferæ”. Is the first a misprint, or do I quite misunderstand list?— I have thought that it wd. be just worth drawing your attention to, this, for if a misprint, it cd easily be corrected by hand.—
Yours affect | C. Darwin
Do not write on purpose, but sometime explain, for I was surprised to see Cruciferæ in 1st. list.—
