Darwin Correspondence Project

To W. E. Darwin   [3 November 1858]1

[Down]

My dear W.

You must sign enclosed draft on the back cross-ways; & then when you pay any tradesman ask him, if he will give you change.— If I understood you right, Mr Gunson said he would back it with his name & that would make it very simple.—2

Yours affect | C. D.

Please acknoledge Receipt of this.

Footnotes
