Mr Darwin presents his compliments to Mr & Mrs. Mudie & is much obliged for the honour of their invitation. Mr. Darwin fears that he cannot come up to London on that day, otherwise he would have had much pleasure in accepting Mr & Mrs. Mudies’ kind invitation.—


The date range is established by the form of the address, which CD used from October 1842 to April 1846, and from October 1855 until March 1869.
