My dear Ramsay
I am very much obliged to you for having so kindly sent me your Physical Geology &c of Gt. Britain. I am delighted to see that it is now in the 5th Edition, for this proves that there must be a very large body of men in England capable of appreciating sound Geological Science.1 I am heartily glad of the success of this book.—
Yours very sincerely | Ch. Darwin
