Dear Sir:
I am much obliged for your etter of April 21th and for the present of your work and the Review.1 I shall be pleased and honoured to have my book translated in Spanish, by which means it may be Known in the large kingdom of Spain, and in the widest extended regions where spanish is spoken. I directed my publisher to send a copy of the Origin by post to you yesterday.2 No fasther authorisation is required than this note. I have nothing to add to the spanish edition, and will only add my sincere hopes that it may be sucersful.
