Dear Sir
I am much obliged to you for your great kindness in informing me about the gems & sending me the impressions. I am however so ignorant in Archaeology that I will not accept your very obliging offer of sending me one of your valuable gems for inspection.1
With my best thanks & compliments | I remain | Dear Sir | Yours faithfully | Charles Darwin
