Samuel Wilson
1832–95
Australian landowner and politician. From 1869, owned and managed extensive agricultural lands, including Longerenong station, Wimmera, Victoria, where he lived. Developed Australia’s largest sheep flock. Knighted, 1875. Retired to England, 1881. (Aust. dict. biog.).
