Heinrich Wilhelm Reichardt
1835–85
Austrian botanist. Studied medicine and botany in Vienna from 1855, receiving his doctorate in medicine in 1860. Assistant keeper, royal cabinet (later natural history museum), Vienna, 1866; keeper 1867; head keeper, 1871. Habilitated in morphology and plant systematics, Vienna, 1860; professor extraordinarius of botany, 1873.
