Ludwig Noiré
1829–89
German philosopher, philologist, and schoolteacher. PhD, Giessen, 1848. Taught at the Gymnasium in Mainz, 1851–88. Critic of CD from the perspective of a Spinozist monism. Published a number of monographs on pedagogy, the origin of language, the history of philosophy, and Kantian philosophy.
