I find by dearly-bought experience that such an exertion as going to Crystal Palace knocks me (up) for several days, and therefore I cannot accept your kind offer.2 What you tell me about the nesting of birds is new to me.3

Weir’s letter has not been found and the information on nesting has not been identified.
