Dear Sir

I have good reason to believe that you are the author of an article on Tylor & Lubbock in the July No of the Q. Rev. for 74, which includes an attack on my son Mr G. Darwin. As I desire to know on what terms we are to stand in the future, I request you to be so good as to inform me whether you are the author of any part of the article.— I shall use your answer in communicating with other QQQQ, including Mr Murray about above Dear Sir | Yours faithfully | Ch. Darwin

To | St G. Mivart E^sq
