From John Lubbock 23 July 1
15, Lombard Street, E.C.
My dear Mr. Darwin
As you may perhaps have seen in the Times I brought forward the Cousin question at about half past one last night, or rather this morning.2
It would be desirable to get some members to speak to Mr Bruce on the subject.3 I read most of your letter to the House.4
I am glad you like my book.5 It is almost all sold.
Hoping to see you tomorrow I remain, dear Mr Darwin, | Yours most sincerely | John Lubbock
Brought forward the "cousin question" in the House; read most of CD’s letter to the House.
