Ch Darwin Esq FRS

My dear Sir

I shall be very glad indeed if I can furnish you with any information of use.1

I send by post copies of the Registrar General’s Reports—and two other books which you may like to see—if they are not in your Library.2 If you will kindly return the books—by post—postage-unpaid—under cover to the Registrar General—they will reach us in safety.

I will make inquiries about the animals—&c3

I write in haste as you may require the books.

I am my dear Sir | Yours very sincerely | W. Farr
