My Dear Sir

I am glad to be able to alleviate your anguish a little regarding your Index— The first part arrived, as promised on Monday— Clowes set it up at once but as it was not enough to fill a sheet he did not send out proofs—2 Yesterdays post brought the remainder;3 consequently you will have one sheet from Clowes tomorrow & the rest on Tuesday. I shall be truly glad to get it out

My Dear Sir | yours very faithfully | John Murray
