Daniel T. Gardner

American radical and merchant. Secretary, Hendricks Bros, copper manufacturing company, circa 1830. Secretary, New York Liberal Club, later Manhattan Liberal Club, 1870 to late 1870s. Moved with his wife to Russia and surrendered his American citizenship. Imported American goods to Russia first in partnership with his brother Frank W. Gardner, in New York, and later with U. T. Hungerford of Wallace & Sons.
