John Dixon Kendall

Mining engineer. Experienced in iron-ore mining in north-east England. Fellow of the Geological Society of London, 1874. Member of the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers, 1874. Manager of Salter Hall Mining Company, Cumberland, 1879. Resigned as manager of Postlethwaite’s Moor Row mines, Cumberland, to open an office in London, in 1896.
