My Dear Sir,

Yours of the 20th has reached me just in time to let me reply by today’s mail.1 I have much pleasure in enclosing 3 specimens of Aldrovanda verticillata Roxb. from a jheel S. of Calcutta which I hope may reach you in time for your purpose.2

CD acknowledged King for sending him specimens of Aldrovanda vesciculosa var. verticillata in Insectivorous plants, p. 329. Jeel: mere or lagoon (Hobson-Jobson). Aldrovanda verticillata is a synonym of A. vesciculosa (the waterwheel plant).


Sends three specimens of Aldrovanda verticulata.
