We propose to celebrate the 105th birthday, of the illustrious Alexander Von Humboldt, on the 14th day of September next; and a word of cheer from you, honored Sir, as one of our honorary members would grace the occasion to a great degree, I trust Sir as the secretary, to be able through your kindness to read a message from you, on the anniversary night1
