The Table des planches enluminéez by Pieter Boddaert (Boddaert 1783) was an identification key to Planches enluminéez d’histoire naturelle, a work of 1008 plates, issued in 42 numbers between 1765 and 1783 under the supervision of Edmé-Louis Daubenton (see Cowan 1967 and Cowan 1968). The reprint of Boddaert 1783 was edited and published by Tegetmeier in an effort to reinstate many of Boddaert’s scientific names on the principle of priority (see Tegetmeier ed. 1874, editor’s preface).
