My dear Sir

I cannot pass this day in which you accomplish the 70th year of your wonderfully rich life without sending to you my heartiest congratulation and the cordial wish that a long and serene evening of life may be destined to you.1

It is very welcome to me that by your kind mediation my article has been dispatched to the Linnean Society2
