I have the honour to inform you, that at a meeting held March 27th 1860 you were elected a Correspondent of this Society.f1

To this announcement of the confidence of the Academy, I beg leave to add that it is with sentiments of the highest respect, I subscribe myself,

Chapter 3, Article 7. No pecuniary contributions shall be required from Correspondents, but Correspondents residing in the United States shall be charged a diploma fee of five dollars.
