I have just got in the amount of the Expence of producing the New Edition of 3000 Copies of your Work on Species and I find that after deducting the cost of production including advertising and binding, the Sale of that Number will leave a total profit of £950—two thirds of which will amount to 636. 13. 4 for which Sum I am prepared to give you my notes of Hand at 6 & 9 Months from the day of publication according to the terms of our agreement
