Hochgeehrtester Herr,

Im Besitz Ihres Werthen v. 21. d.2 verfehle ich nicht Sie hierdurch zu unterrichten, dass ich heute die von Ihnen gewünschten Clichés der 67 Holzschnitte aus Fritz Müller’s Schrift durch Vermittlung der Herren Williams & Norgate in London an Herrn J. Murray dort abgehen liess und kann ich nur wünschen, dass die Sendung recht bald in Ihren Besitz gelangen und von Ihnen in bester Ordnung gefunden werden möge.3

Indem ich Ihnen zugleich den Empfang Ihrer Anweisung auf die Un. Bank of London im Betrage von £3. 6 sh., = Th/. 22–,4 mit bestem Danke bestätige, füge ich die Versicherung bei, dass es mir zu besonderer Freude gereichte, Ihnen gefällig sein zu können und empfehle ich mich Ihnen | mit vorzüglichster Hochachtung | Ihr | ergebenster | gez. Most honoured Sir,

With regard to your esteemed letter of the 21st 2 I must not fail to inform you herewith that today I have had the 67 clichés of the woodcuts that you wanted from Fritz Müller’s work delivered to Mr. J. Murray via Messrs. Williams & Norgate in London, and I can only hope that the delivery will reach you safely very soon and in good order.3

While confirming with my best thanks the receipt of your transfer via the Un. Bank of London in the amount of £3. 6 sh., = Ths/. 22–,4 I must add my assurance that it has been a particular pleasure to oblige you and I remain | with greatest respect | for Wilh. Engelmann | Theod. Engelmann
