Sir
I have been commanded by my L. C. A. to supply you with a copy of our plan of Ascension Id. in order to its being engraved for the illustration of the Natural History of the Beagle’s Voyage.
I should therefore recommend you to send your lithographer to this office with the proper ink for taking a transfer proof from the plate; by which means you will be able to reproduce as many impressions as you may think fit. Fr B.
