My dear Sir

I am very much obliged for your note & all the trouble you have so kindly taken about French Edition.—1 I have written to Mad. Belloc.2

I return papers signed & witnessed.

I quite agree to all you say. & do not care for extra copies of Kingsley’s sentence.3

I am very glad of 3000 copies, but you must not run risk for my sake. I will not delay Printers.— I write briefly to save your time.—
